Job Overview
As a Landscape Foreman, you will be responsible for supervising crews, managing job sites, and ensuring the successful completion of landscaping projects. You will work closely with team members to execute designs, install hardscapes and softscapes, and maintain high safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and Lead Crews – Oversee daily work, assign tasks, and ensure efficiency.
- Project Management – Coordinate job site logistics, timelines, and resources.
- Landscape Installation & Maintenance – Manage softscape (plants, sod, gardens) and hardscape (patios, walkways, retaining walls) projects.
- Equipment Operation – Safely operate landscaping tools and machinery (mowers, trimmers, excavators, etc.).
- Quality Control & Safety – Ensure all work meets company standards and follows safety protocols.
- Client Communication – Address customer concerns and provide excellent service.
- Problem-Solving – Troubleshoot issues and adapt plans as needed to meet project goals.
Qualifications & Skills
✔ Experience: 3+ years in landscaping, hardscaping, or related fields.
✔ Leadership: Proven ability to manage teams and delegate tasks.
✔ Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of landscape design, plant care, irrigation, and construction techniques.
✔ Physical Fitness: Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
✔ Valid Driver’s License: A must for transporting equipment and crew to job sites.
✔ Attention to Detail: Ensuring projects are completed to a high standard.
